Healthy Rebates, Inc. Announces the Launch of My HSA Rewards

Program will Help People Save More Money into Health Savings Accounts - A Smart and Simple Way to Pay for Health Care

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) May 26, 2009 -- Healthy Rebates, Inc. today announced the launch of My HSA Rewards, a web site designed to engage individuals, employers and insurance agents in a new program to help save more money for health care.

The program, My HSA Rewards, allows individuals to earn cash rewards for purchases made through merchants participating in the program. At launch, the merchant network consists of hundreds of major online retailers representing thousands of brands.

Rewards typically range between .5 percent and 25 percent of the purchase price of goods. A program member who accumulates $50 of rewards in a My HSA Rewards account can transfer them to a Health Savings Account (HSA).

"For individuals who want to grow their HSA savings faster and with ease, My HSA Rewards is smart and simple because it puts real cash into their health savings accounts for the purchases they make every day," said Sanders McConnell, President of Healthy Rebates, Inc.

Key program details:

  • there are no fees to join My HSA Rewards
  • enrollment and account management are conducted online at My HSA Rewards
  • the program is not exclusive to any insurance carrier or bank, so members can freely "take the program with them" if they change jobs, insurance carriers or HSA custodians
  • thousands of earnings opportunities can make earning rewards fast
  • it is tax smart because third party contributions to HSAs are tax deductible
  • because the rewards are cash, unlike points-based rewards programs, members know the true value of the rewards they earn
  • entire site is secure socket layered (SSL) secured to assure protection of member's data and safe shopping

My HSA Rewards is a program intended to support the adoption and utilization of Health Savings Accounts as a positive change in American health care.

"My HSA Rewards can have a meaningful impact on the savings individuals contribute to their health savings accounts," McConnell said. "We have a great selection of merchants - and are just getting started. We look forward to expanding the opportunities for our members to put more money into their HSAs."

My HSA Rewards was developed by McConnell a leading expert on HSAs and Rob Grady, an airline loyalty marketing veteran who prior to this endeavor led Delta Air Lines, partnership marketing program for many years. The My HSA Rewards website was built with the assistance of The DataBase Group of Petaluma, CA, ("DBG"). DBG develops and manages data-driven web sites for marketing and loyalty programs.
