Everyday Health, which is operated by Waterfront Media, the largest privately held online health company, grew 349%, more than any other Internet property in 2007, according to a new study by comScore Media Metrix. The percentage growth for the online health leader, which receives more than 12 million unique visitors, was higher than any other U.S. Internet property, including established brands like Craigslist.org, Wikipedia, Google, and Facebook.com. The increased size also resulted in Everyday Health being named for the first time as one of the top 100 properties.

    In its annual ranking of U.S. Internet trends, comScore highlighted the success of the no. 2 health destination online. "Everyday Health was the only property in 2007 to more than triple its traffic, placing us among the Internet's most established and popular brands," said Ben Wolin, Waterfront Media's CEO and co-founder.
