HealthyCircles introduces the world to a new era of care delivery where health care professionals are seamlessly connected to their patients and family members without boundaries

HIMSS Annual Conference -- With the entire country focused on reducing health care costs and improving patient care, an innovative solution is available. HealthyCircles™ (http://www.healthycircles.com), a revolutionary online care coordination and collaboration platform for patients, health care professionals and family members, has officially launched at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems (HIMSS) conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

HealthyCircles' Health Professionals Portal is designed to improve care coordination between health care professionals and their patients. Its triage tools allow medical providers to deliver better care, to more patients, at a fraction of the cost. Providers, medical practices and hospitals who set-up free HealthyCircles accounts will receive such tools as a HIPAA compliant electronic medical record, clinical decision support, patient care alerts and notifications, a health program offering tool and electronic payment recovery. The platform can also open up new revenue streams for providers through its health program marketplace that features online health programs purchased by patients and authored by professionals.

"HealthyCircles introduces the world to a new era of care delivery where health care professionals are seamlessly connected to their patients and family members without boundaries," said James Mault, M.D., FACS, chairman and chief executive officer of HealthyCircles. "This platform assures better care for more people at a fraction of the cost by reducing duplicate tests, increasing the capacity to deliver care with more frequent patient interactions and improving patient satisfaction."

By using the HealthyCircles Consumer Portal, patients and their families benefit from a unique, collaborative care experience. The Portal provides a private and secure personal health record, health team messaging and interactive health programs and services. Data sharing between the Consumer and Professional Portals is accomplished through a permission-based, bi-directional invitation system.

As part of HealthyCircles' mission to improve global patient care and medical practice efficiency, several of the nation's leading health care companies have already implemented the online platform under their own private label brands including the American Medical Association and MedImpact, the largest privately-held Pharmacy Benefit Manager in the United States. The HealthyCircles Connected Health Platform offers open architecture and welcomes strategic partnerships with EMR vendors, hospitals, health plans, pharmacies and physician groups who may want their systems to interoperate with some or all of the HealthyCircles Platform under their own private label branding.

Demonstrations of the HealthyCircles platform will take place at the American Medical Association booth on the HIMSS10 exhibit floor, Building C, this week. For more information, please visit http://www.healthycircles.com.
