A week from today, the Boston branch of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club will host their first ever HBS Alumni New Venture Contest. PrescriptionDrugs.com co-founder Mike “Zappy” Zapolin will be in attendance to present the new website’s business plan, which has been selected to compete for a chance at the overall win.
The contest was designed to spotlight and support new ventures of HBS alumni, and semi-finals are being conducted at 8 HBS Alumni Club locations throughout the world, including Brazil, India and England. Three semi-finalists will be selected on March 16 and Boston’s winner will be selected from these semi-finalists on March 30. Finalists selected from each of the 8 local contests will be given mentoring from an HBS faculty member prior to the finals, which are to be held April 26 at the Harvard Business School campus.
