HomeTown Health, LLC has been a pioneer for the survival of Georgia’s rural hospitals for over 12 years, and HomeTown Health presents two conferences every year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. As the 12th Annual Fall Conference approaches, HomeTown Health is prepared to deliver another meaningful healthcare conference, filled with useful, up to the minute information that Georgia's healthcare leaders need.
The 11th Annual Spring Conference on April 25-27, 2011 was held at Sea Palms Resort in St. Simons GA. The “Worth a Million Dollars” theme was aimed at helping HTH hospital members in seeing $1 million in savings opportunities annually. HomeTown Health provided the hospitals with an exemplary group of Business Partners who delivered solutions for achieve this $ 1 million dollar savings goal and a worksheet that totaled an actual $2.9 million in annual savings based on $10 million in net revenue.
Now, as the Fall Conference approaches, HomeTown Health wants to educate, motivate, and cultivate new connections among Georgia’s healthcare leaders. While the healthcare environment may be complex and challenging, the “stage is set” for the HomeTown Health stakeholders to come together to address the key issues like value based purchasing, HCAPHS, HIPAA 5010, ICD-10, Readmission reduction, and hear from key state and federal leaders and reimbursement experts providing the answers and solutions required to survive.
