Dr. Brisbin takes a great deal of care with non-operative patients whether children, athletes, the elderly or other patients for whom surgery is either not indicated or not an option.

In April, 2012, Beverlee A. Brisbin, M.D., F.A.A.F.P., (Fellow, American Academy of Family Physicians) joined MidAmerica Hand to Shoulder Clinic located at 10330 S. Roberts Rd., Palos Hills. She works closely with her patients in sports medicine, wound care and non-operative orthopaedics.

Dr. Brisbin takes a great deal of care with non-operative patients whether children, athletes, the elderly or other patients for whom surgery is either not indicated or not an option. She believes in improving the quality of life by getting people back to the activities they enjoy.

She is also a team physician for various high schools, an aid station team leader for the Chicago Marathon, and a team physician for the United States soccer team.

Dr. Brisbin graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and completed medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago. She completed a family practice residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and at Christ Hospital Medical Center, Oak Lawn. She completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center through the MacNeal Family Practice Residency Program.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing.
