Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) December 01, 2015
Helient Systems is pleased to announce that Amy Freese has joined the company as the Director of Project Operations. A former Cozen O’Connor Director of Solutions and Support, Amy will manage and coordinate Helient’s professional services for the company’s legal and corporate clients.
“Everyone is thrilled that Amy is now part of the Helient team” said Steve Hatch, Chief Operating Officer. “Helient has experienced exceptional growth in the three short years since we formed. Many important clients are working with our team of senior consultants. Today, Helient employs more than a dozen people delivering concurrent projects worldwide. Managing these multiple complex engagements and ensuring the quality of our deliverables requires a very special person in this senior management position. Amy has the knowledge and leadership experience, the respect of our staff and the trust of our clients to be uniquely successful in this critical role.”
“While I have been enjoying retirement,” Amy said, “I very much miss the interaction with all my friends in the legal community, which has been an important part of my life for so many years. When Helient approached me with this position, its virtual and outward facing multi-client role with highly respected and excellent team of people became a position uniquely suited to me and the blended lifestyle I desire.”
After graduating from the University of Rochester and moving to Philadelphia, Amy started her career working as a paralegal at Wolf Block then moved to Syntrex which provided network technology solutions to law firms. In a few years, Amy accepted the wonderful opportunity of developing her own network at Cozen O’Connor in Philadelphia where she accepted the position of Network Manager. Later she was promoted to Director of Information Services, a role that later evolved into Director of Solutions and Support. Actively involved in the legal community now for more than 30 years, Amy has been a contributor, volunteer and leader in both the national organization and the Philadelphia regional chapter of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
