That means people following our project from California to Australia and everywhere in between can hear and see the amazing undiscovered talent that exists in European streets right from their computer.

With 1.1 billion users on Facebook and 500 million on Twitter, it is needless to say that social media is popular for every culture, gender and age. Two of the best opportunities social media offers users is the ability to connect with people located all over the world and giving them a powerful voice. The founders behind Indiegogo project, Hello Europe, recognized these benefits and have integrated them into their project.

Hello Europe is a project started by 3 friends that wanted to share the talent of undiscovered buskers to those all over the world via social media. The trio will travel to over 20 European countries to reward the best street artist in each city. First, they will narrow the field to the city’s 3 most talented street artists. Next, they will record a short video for each artist that showcases their work, and share it across Hello Europe’s social networks. Then, it is the job of followers to vote for their favorite busker to help them win. Each Facebook Like counts as a vote to help their favorite street artists win, and exposes their talented work to the world. By simply liking, sharing and retweeting, followers can make a huge difference in a busker’s life.

“By using social media, we’re able to share this work, keep followers involved and generate widespread awareness,” says Hello Europe co-founder Guilherme Duarte. “That means people following our project from California to Australia and everywhere in between can hear and see the amazing undiscovered talent that exists in European streets right from their computer.”

In order to gain an initial following, the three founders took their project to Indiegogo. Since crowdfunding makes funders a part of the project, it encourages them to follow the trio as they trek around Europe searching for street artists. This loyal following will help make Hello Europe successful in both funding their Indiegogo campaign, and also having an audience to vote for and share their favorite buskers.

With 24 days left in their Indiegogo campaign, Hello Europe needs help to reach their crowdfunding goal. About Hello Europe
The Hello Europe project was created by a group of three friends from Portugal who want to do something different. They have all known each other for more than 25 years, and share many interests like traveling, taking photographs, meeting new people and sharing their stories. During the Hello Europe project, they will embark on an amazing adventure to create a chain of emotions. They’ll travel around Europe for 100 days in an RV, visiting more than 20 countries with a main goal: find the best street performers of each city, and help them out by giving them some visibility, and spreading out the word about how amazing they are. The best in each city will receive a prize from the group. To learn more about Hello Europe, visit their Facebook page or follow them on Twitter @HelloEuropeProj.
