HEPACART, the world leader in the production and distribution of dust-containment devices, has been granted three Distinction Awards by the Judges of the Symposium Distinction Awards during the product competition portion of the 2011 Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo in Chicago, Illinois.
HEPACART’s AnteRoom room isolation module received the three separate Distinction Awards for Most Innovative Product, Most Sustainable Product and Best of Show in the competition. The annual healthcare design product competition at the symposium honors design teams and companies who have made a profound contribution to the healthcare design industry. In addition, the awards recognize the best and most innovative new products exhibited at the Healthcare Facilities Expo.
“We are very proud that such a diverse group of judges have recognized the utility and sustainability of our room isolation product,” commented Mark Farnsworth, HEPACART Sales and Marketing Director. “To be recognized in all three categories is a humbling, yet satisfying experience. For all of us at HEPACART, it’s a great affirmation from our industry about the quality of our work and our product. At the end of the expo, our management and staff walk away knowing that the judges saw the benefits of the AnteRoom and recognized the utility, sustainability and cost-saving advantages of the product over so many great competitors. As a small manufacturing business working to improve infection control methods in hospitals and care facilities, it’s a great honor, one that I’ll always remember.”
The HEPACART AnteRoom is an external aluminum doorway that serves as an entryway into any room where maintenance, renovation or construction is taking place. The AnteRoom provides total room isolation, a containment measure that mitigates patient risk from work dust and related airborne contaminants. The AnteRoom can be easily moved from room to room in a worksite and is a much faster and less expensive alternative than temporary tents and walls. The specifications for the AnteRoom meet all the requirements of Class IV Infection Control precautionary measures.
