There is just no reason a school should have to send visitors away from their website to find out information about any of their own teams

Beginning March 1st, High School and Middle School athletic departments across the country will have a new tool that could help them raise thousands of dollars for their sports teams on a yearly and eventually even a monthly basis. Team iSportz is launching a full service website solution that will bring these schools and teams to the forefront of fundraising thru the world of internet advertising. Gone are the days of relying on sales of candy bars or magazine subscriptions to help fund athletic programs, while in comes TI's unique blend of revenue sharing programs and a newly designed website alliance.
Social media, internet advertising and online networking has exploded thru the younger generations, but for some reason most high schools have yet to harness this new phenomenon in a way that helps benefit their student-athletes. Parents, fans and even college recruiters are having to rely on many different services just to follow their son or daughter's various sports teams; and they continuously see high school websites sending their online visitors away from their own site to view their team's stats, schedules, photos and more. In the meantime, these services who are receiving this web traffic are selling advertising space by the thousands of dollars, and the schools see none of this money after voluntarily sending their visitors away. "There is just no reason a school should have to send visitors away from their website to find out information about any of their own teams," said Co-Founder Jeff McEntarfer. "If an athlete's mom wants to find out a score of a game she couldn't attend, or see video highlights of her son, she shouldn't have to hunt all over the internet to find a service who provides it, and then possibly have to pay a fee to watch it."
This is where Team iSportz hopes to change all of that. With a brand new design coming out March 1st, a school will now have the ability to (in addition to many other features) post results, schedules, announcements as well as unlimited photos and videos for every team of every sport in the school. Teams and coaches will have the ability to post full game videos right on the school website with the click of a button. By the way, there is no programming or HTML knowledge needed for a TI website, and the sites can be updated from any computer with internet access. What does this mean to the athletic departments around the country? TI's President of Internet Marketing, Clint Steiner, responds to that question by saying, "This brand new product will allow schools to control their web traffic. Fans can watch the game online, they can look at photos, they can read news articles and most importantly, the administration can go to sponsors and say 'look at how much traffic our website gets, do you want your name in front of all these visitors.' And the best part about it, they keep 100% of the ad revenue that they sell."
Team iSportz realizes that not every school or team is in a major media market that can sell unlimited advertising, but this is where the "Team" in Team iSportz fits in. TI will reach out to national advertisers, and what company would not want to get their product in front of thousands of different sports crazed fans everyday knowing that 50% of those dollars spent go directly to the athletic department and teams of the schools that make up Team iSportz. "Let's say a company like Nike or Gatorade purchases an ad from TI for $5K/month, well, $2,500 of that will go directly to our teams," says McEntarfer. "A few ads like that, coupled with schools selling their own advertising, referring other schools to TI and we don't see any reason a school or team can't be bringing in thousands of dollars each year to help fund their programs."
