We believe the welfare of the people beyond our gates is a critical part of the health of our community here at Solivita.

HOA management firm, Associated Asset Management (AAM), LLC, a nationally recognized leader in community association management and accounting services for clients throughout the United States, is being honored by St. Rose of Lima Parish for its volunteer work in renovating the Food Pantry. A “Pantry Appreciation Open House” will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on August 24, 2012. The event will take place at the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry, 3870 Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee, Florida.

AAM will be recognized for its contributions, along with Habitat for Humanity of Osceola County and other partner vendors.

AAM was retained by Avatar Properties, Inc. in January 2012 to manage the Home Owners Association and community activities at Solivita, an award-winning 55+ active adult community in Poinciana, Florida. Residents of Solivita have a long history of providing support for the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry.

“Service is a major part of AAM’s way of life and we bring that to every community we serve,” said Kraig Carmickle, AAM’s community and club manager for Solivita. “We believe the welfare of the people beyond our gates is a critical part of the health of our community here at Solivita.

“We were happy to be able to help St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry,” continued Carmickle. “And, we’re very grateful for them to acknowledge our contribution with the Pantry Appreciation Open House. We look forward to attending this event.”

In early July 2012, AAM employees and its partner vendors offered their expertise, tools, time and generosity to update the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry. The team met its goal of using no pantry dollars for the project and creating a more appealing environment for Pantry workers and clients. The volunteers painted, replaced light fixtures and smoke alarms, improved the air conditioning system and built handicapped ramps inside and out. The team also donated and installed a water filtration system and refrigerator.

Serving the Poinciana community, including Polk and Osceola counties, the St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry provides food to approximately 25,000 people each year. The pantry helps anyone in need, regardless of religion. In addition, families don’t have to be parishioners to seek assistance.
