Rising rents and historically-low interest rates are fueling a strong recovery in desirable neighborhoods.

It is difficult to find a published article these days that says we are not experiencing a real estate recovery to some degree or another. Depending on the type of real estate and its location, this is either partially true, completely true or enthusiastically true.
Along the way, there has been a concurrent increase in the interest of buying, owning and investing in real estate. Michael Hobbs and Greg Jones will discuss how this year is progressing in the commercial and residential real estate markets.
Michael Hobbs, SRA, RAA, LEED GA, currently President of PahRoo Appraisal & Consultancy, noted that many buyers are taking advantage of a renewed confidence in the real estate recovery and it is self-perpetuating to a large degree. Greg Jones, LR Windsor, noted that many of clients are either purchasing for the first time or adding to their existing real estate as rental income has gone up but financing costs are still moderate.
