HolidayLEDs.com, an internet retail company specializing in energy-efficient LED Christmas lights announced today that it will launch a new weekly sale program featuring LED holiday lighting products at deep discounts.

LED Christmas lights have been widely available to consumers for about seven years now. Since their first appearance on the market the quality has been greatly improved and prices have come down a bit. However, many consumers are still reluctant to switch to the new LED Christmas lights which use up to 99% less than traditional incandescent Christmas lights. “We know that there are a lot of consumers out there who are really interested in switching to LED Christmas lights but may be hesitant to make the change because of the higher price point,” explained Nathan Munro of HolidayLEDs.com. “We came up with the Thrifty Thursdays program to give consumers who are interested in LED holiday lights the opportunity to try the lights out at a very low price,” Munro added.

The Thrifty Thursdays program will begin on Thursday, September 30, 2010 and continue through December 9, 2010. Each Thursday HolidayLEDs.com will offer one LED Christmas lighting product at a very low price. The product of the week will be announced and available for purchase beginning at 12 a.m. EST every Thursday. The URL for the sale product will be posted on the HolidayLEDs.com Facebook and Twitter pages.

LED Christmas lights use up to 99% less energy than traditional incandescent Christmas lights, can last up to 50,000 hours and produce very little heat so are safer for indoor use.
