Aequitas Automotive have caught the Hollywood bug this week

Wirral, UK (PRWEB UK) 16 September 2012

Leading UK Insurance supplier, Aequitas Automotive is quite used to the limelight in their chosen field. The specialist protection products the company provide for the public are regularly highlighted amongst the UK media, including a feature in the Which Report on Gap Insurance in 2012. However, this week Aequitas have enjoyed a different kind of fame, as scenes for an upcoming Hollywood blockbuster have been shot at their Wirral office complex.

This has caused quite a stir amongst the staff at Aequitas, as a spokesperson for the company explained.

"It is not every day that a Hollywood film crew descends on your place of work, and it has caused quite a level of excitement amongst the staff. The production company informed us a few weeks ago that scenes for the new Tom Clancy 'Jack Ryan' series were to be filmed in the area.

Aequitas are situated in the Wirral Waters developement, and our building is situated right next to the old Mersey Tunnel entrance. It is in the old tunnel that scenes for the new film have been shot, and there have been quite a week of stunts, explosions and car chases! Part of the office complex has been provided for a 'Green Room' for the actors and stunt people, and the car park has been full of 'NYPD' vehicles all week too.

Of course it has been exciting having Hollywood actors around this week, as the film looks to star Chris Pine as Jack Ryan, and also feature Keira Knightley and Kevin Costner also." *

The spokesperson added that whilst the Aequitas staff have been allowed some leeway to observe the filming, this has not effected their main role of providing Gap Insurance products in what is a busy new registration month. However, Aequitas have not considered offering any protection products to the film crew.

"Aequitas may never have seen so many staff in so early and leave so late as we have this week, but all enjoyed having the Hollywood stars here. However, watching the stunt riders crash brand new motorbikes and cars, our sales team were not tempted to ask them if they were interested in Gap Insurance for their vehicles!"
