Northern California eco-friendly company, CompoClay, a green, raw material that provides a safe alternative for wood, stone and clay products, is now available at Gump’s, a home decor store located at 135 Post St. in San Francisco. Since 1861, Gump’s has been the local destination for luxury gifts, jewelry, artful objects and home decor. With the start of the New Year, the Year of the Dragon, Gump’s sought to offer stunning, Asian-inspired treasures for the home and selected CompoClay as part of the new collection.

“At first, I was attracted to CompoClay’s design discipline, and we were looking for Asian-inspired decorative accessories. I loved their assortment. Once I got the full introduction into CompoClay’s eco-friendly, raw materials and manufacturing process, and the ease with which they partner on product development opportunities, I knew that Gump’s had found a great partner,” said Jon Leafstedt, vice president and general manager of Gump’s Retail and Web Merchandising.

The Praying Monk, Terracotta Warrior, Buddha in Meditation, Buddha Head, Daikoku and CompoClay Lanterns – Kobe Lantern, Kyoto Lantern – are now available in-store. Online, customers may purchase the Praying Monk and Elephant Set. CompoClay and Gump’s will soon offer new products exclusively available at Gump’s.
