Habitat for Humanity ReStore of South Collin County (Plano) is Making Every Day Earth Day

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore of South Collin County is having an Earth Day celebration at its store through May.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore of South Collin County is continuing its celebration of Earth Day throughout the end of April and through May. Earth Day was held on April 22, but Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County will continue to promote environmental protection at its ReStore location at 1400 Summit Avenue in Plano, Texas.

A box will be set up outside the South Collin County ReStore so people can drop off used electronics - such as computers, PCs, desktops and more. The ReStore will then sell the reconditioned computers.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore Plano will also have Cher Ewing Founder of PinTwist set up on site to show people how to redecorate, reorganize and re-purpose their home to be eco-friendly. The PinTwist site will be set up at the ReStore June 8 & 22. So visitors will be able to check it out while they shop for ideas on how to revitalize their homes.

Through May, all Habitat for Humanity ReStore of South Collin County employees will be wearing green to celebrate Earth Day and promote recycling

And a big 1/2 off sale on select items, i.e. wall art, new blinds, doors and windows and other in-store specials going on now.

Donations can be picked up or dropped off at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore of South Collin County. Visitors are encouraged to buy, donate or even volunteer at the ReStore. Support for the ReStore builds hope, homes and communities. The Habitat for Humanity ReStore has an ongoing need for donated items in several categories, including home decor, surplus building materials, appliances, furniture, warehouse items, fixtures, sporting and exercise equipment and home furnishings.
