Research by Swinton, the UK's leading high street home insurance retailer, found that gardens often contain up to £1,000 worth of furniture and ornaments. A recent survey of 1,500 Swinton UK customers found that 26% claimed that their gardens were not properly secure.
Swinton found the most common expensive garden items to be:
