Founded in 1981, Citizens' High School is a pioneer in distance education, by setting high standards of education in United States. Citizens' inexhaustible list of students includes students from diverse social and economic backgrounds belonging to different age groups. From teenagers to senior citizens, from students from all fifty states to countless American children living overseas, this school has motivated all those students who had not completed their education for various reasons.
While the 9th to 12th grade curriculum is typically designed to provide a strong foundation in basic academic subject areas such as math, science, English, and social studies, the school also includes various vocational subjects to supplement these subject areas. If you are interested in pursuing a vocational career you may opt for electives from an array of technical and business subjects. On the other hand, students interested in postsecondary education can choose electives in science, math, and other advanced subjects.
For up-to-date knowledge, Citizens' subjects are based on latest editions of high school textbooks published by major educational publishers. To facilitate home study, these texts are converted into easy to comprehend Study Guides. These Study Guides can be used to learn concepts systematically at home. They include learning tips, general instructions, along with self-check exercises to assess your progress so far. Depending on the requirement of a particular subject, workbooks and a cassette tape is also provided to enhance learning and comprehension.
