Alarm Force is a Toronto based home alarm company that's been in business for over 24 years. Alarm Force provides a straightforward home security system that is customizable to meet a customer’s needs. Equipment is leased to customers and may be transferred to a new home, if the customer relocates.

The Alarm Force website provides two different plan options. The Standard Package uses a landline to communicate with police and the monitoring company. This package also includes free access to a two way voice intercom that gives the monitoring company access to listen via an intercom and communicate with the resident back and forth as needed. This feature is especially friendly for seniors that continue to live at home and may need medical assistance during an emergency. Included in the package are one interior siren, one wireless motion detector, a keypad and a 36 month contract requirement.

The Alarm Force monitoring cost is one of the most affordable. Additional sensors, smoke alarms, panic buttons and more may be installed to further customize the system. The Alarm Plus package is a little pricier but includes everything in the standard package as well as technology to identify if a land line has been cut.

The video technology available at Alarm Force is called Video Relay. This option is designed to send a phone call and email to the home owner if the doorbell is pressed. The phone call will give the homeowner access to talk to the person at the front door via an intercom. The Video Relay system is a nice feature if the customer already has a Smart Phone.

The strong customer support and Better Business Bureau rating make Alarm Force a solid home security system. We found that Alarm Force is cost effective, as compared to other home security companies, especially if used in a smaller home.
