Over 50s insurance specialist Castle Cover returns to the screen this month with the launch of their latest TV advertising campaign.

We wanted to keep the advert simple and direct, and using the memorable Castle Character helped us to achieve that. The message is clear, concise, and impactful - tying in very well with our brand. Our previous television campaign proved that this delivery works, and we are looking forward to the success of this campaign.

Over 50s insurance specialist Castle Cover is excited to announce its first television campaign of 2009.

The advert features Castle's very own animated character, who narrowly avoids dropping a vase whilst explaining that people over 50 are more likely to look after their home and possessions and less likely to make a claim, resulting in discounts on their premiums. He goes on to tell viewers that they could save on their home insurance when getting a quote from the over 50s specialist. Driving away in his cartoon car, he reminds viewers that they could also save on their car insurance with Castle Cover.

Andy Bray, Campaign Manager at Castle Cover said, "We wanted to keep the advert simple and direct, and using the memorable Castle Character helped us to achieve that. The message is clear, concise, and impactful - tying in very well with our brand. Our previous television campaign proved that this delivery works, and we are looking forward to the success of this campaign."

The advert will be shown across a number of channels -- including Sky News, ITV2 and ITV3 -- over a period of five weeks.

Andy Cole, Head of Marketing at Castle Cover said, "Television is obviously an exciting medium for us given the level of exposure it allows. Following the success of our previous TV campaign in September 2008, the goal is to broadcast the Castle Cover message to as many people who are over 50 as possible; our aim is to help them to save money on their home or car insurance during these challenging times."
