Homeless Sign-Job'n for Capitalism

"I'd Rather Be Homeless Than A Liberal"

Orlando TV producer/funny-man Mike McDaniel, who creates reality segments for his TV series "Havin' a Beer with Mike", took initiative this week to empower the homeless with a revolutionary new business tool. Mike replaced the all-too-familiar "will work for food signs" of the homeless for signs bearing messages embracing conservatism and capitalism. In the spirit of true capitalism, Mike has imposed a 10% "agency/union" fee to be paid in cash, of course, by days end. He is happy to admit he is benefiting from the fruits of labor of the homeless. Traffic comes to a halt while drivers passing by are completely taken off guard by signs that read "I'd Rather Be Homeless Than A Liberal" and "Palin Is Hot, Pelosi Is Not, A Buck or Two Would Hit The Spot." Some of the signs reference current affairs in pop culture with statements such as "I Fathered Octomom's 14 Kids, Please Give."

Mike enthusiastically suggests that the video project is among his best work to date. In an interview earlier today Mike explains, “This social experiment and the video footage we captured is truly outstanding and is a testament to capitalism at its finest. The homeless are receiving increases in revenues, the general public enjoys an irreverent comical experience and I get my cut!” Mike adds, “This project is actually a first of it’s kind and I expect it to have far reaching implications in an environment of polarizing political times...not... Or maybe, who knows?”
