Changing trends in the real estate market force database upgrade.

While home prices remained stable for much of 2012, that is no longer the case. Therefore we had to make sure we are up to date.

HomeValue.us.org has instituted a major overall of their real estate value database to accommodate first quarter 2013 housing prices, the company said.

“We are in a very interesting part of the real estate cycle,” a company spokesman said. “In several cities, housing prices are rising for the first time in years. In other cities, prices remain stagnant and in some cases are dropping. We need to include the updated data to make our reports accurate.”

The spokesman cited the latest housing data documenting big changes in the value of real estate.

“As various housing reports started coming in, we realized that we were going to have a big challenge in terms of keeping up with market trends,” the spokesman said. “While home prices remained stable for much of 2012, that is no longer the case. Therefore we had to make sure we are up to date.”

The company brought in extra IT staff to upload the new data and make it available soon.

“It was a fairly large investment on our part, but one that we feel is worth it if it means our customers have up to date, accurate data at their fingertips,” the spokesman said. “People may be very pleasantly surprised to realize that their home is worth more than they had previously thought.”

Customers who need to find the value of any home simply need to enter the address in the search bar, pay a small fee, and the report will be on their desktop in a couple of minutes.

“It's a system our customers are comfortable using and we have now made sure it is as accurate as possible in the changing housing market,” the spokesman said.
