On Wednesday, April 17, 2013, Hope For The Warriors® will honor combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen at the Got Heart, Give Hope® Gala at The Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, Washington, D.C. The black-tie event will feature country music singer James Wesley as the headlining musical guest. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists combat wounded service members, their families, and families of the fallen.
Wesley is a GAC Top 20 Country Singer and singer of the hit singles, Didn’t I and Real. His newest single, Thank A Farmer, is already a hit on radio stations and social media feeds. He has performed for Hope For The Warriors® at last year’s Gala and at fundraising events. Wesley is heavily devoted to supporting service members and military families.

Film actor, Gary Sinise will again be hosting the Gala this year. Sinise is a member of the nonprofit’s advisory council and the founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation. Hope For The Warriors® is one of the foundation’s charity partners.
“The courage and perseverance displayed by our servicemen and women during difficult times is a constant inspiration. I am thankful for their shining example of service above self,” Sinise said. “It will be my humble privilege to honor some of our nation's bravest patriots at this year's Got Heart, Give Hope® Gala.”
The Hope & Courage Awards will be presented to representatives from each branch of the military, in addition to family members of wounded and fallen service members. Hope For The Warriors® will honor the courage of each award recipient, focusing on the hope they inspire through their remarkable stories of recovery and achievement.
