SIEMENS and Hope For The Warriors Invite All to Run or Walk in Honor of Military

Run For The Warriors are held across the country

Thousands have raced to support veterans

The Run For The Warriors® was created as a means to thank our service members for their sacrifices.

Registration is now open for the San Diego Run For The Warriors® presented by SIEMENS. The race will be held at Embarcadero Marina Park North on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 6 a.m. Registration for the 5K or 1-Mile Walk/Run is $30 with special pricing for service members and military families. In keeping with tradition, this event will begin with an opening ceremony, including singing of the National Anthem. The opening ceremony honors local wounded heroes and families of the fallen. It provides a time to remember those who have given of themselves in the line of duty.

“The Run For The Warriors® was created as a means to thank our service members for their sacrifices,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® president said. “We are thankful to SIEMENS for helping us bring this inspiring race back to San Diego.”

All proceeds will benefit Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
