Together, we were able to spend days problem solving with skilled professionals – something that we, otherwise, wouldn’t be able to afford.
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) December 15, 2012
Hope For The Warriors® thanks Taproot Foundation, HBO®, and Citi Group for exclusive training received during their training sessions: ScopeAthon and Citi Skills Marathon. The skills training was provided to ensure the continued success of the national nonprofit. In addition, HBO donated $15,000 to Hope For The Warriors® to be used toward the ideas learned and developed during the training sessions.
The two separate days of training were facilitated by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit organization that connects corporations interested in providing pro bono work with nonprofit organizations.
The ScopeAthon focused on improving financial systems to ensure that Hope For The Warriors® continues to build a stable financial future. HBO offered a team of skilled executives that specialize in financial management.
The Citi Skills Marathon focused on two projects. During Succession Planning, Hope For The Warriors® worked with a team of human resources executives. The second focus, Increasing Stakeholder Awareness and Engagement, paired the organization with marketing executives.
“We were able to define a strategy for our organization and define how to articulate it well,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® President said. “Together, we were able to spend days problem solving with skilled professionals – something that we, otherwise, wouldn’t be able to afford. ”
Corporate executives will continue to monitor the progress of projects and initiatives that were developed during the training sessions.
