Boulder-based Hope Hummus expanded its distribution into the Northwest Region this month, with initial launches in Rosauers in-store Huckleberry's Natural Food Stores, PCC Natural Markets, and Market of Choice. Hope Hummus makes the highest quality kosher, gluten-free, vegan, and organic hummus available on the market.
“To be able to call up my friends and family and tell them they can go to a store and actually see the product we have been pouring our heart and soul into is really exciting to me personally,” Hope Hummus President Robbie Rech said. “I grew up in Seattle, and I’m excited to bring an organic, gluten free, high-quality product to the Northwest.”
In just six months of distributing outside of their home region, Hope Hummus quickly became available in the following 17 states: WA, OR, CA, AZ, NV, ID, MT, SD, WY, CO, UT, NM, TX, KS, AR, OK, and LA. Expanding into the Northwest will complete Hope Hummus’ distribution in the entire Western Half of the United States.
“The Northwest is really aware of organics, and our product fits really well in great chains like Market of Choice in Eugene, OR, as well as Rosauers, the high quality family grocer in Eastern Washington and the Inland Northwest,” Regional Sales Manager Timothy Bundy said.
The company, which now employs thirty people, launched in April 2011 in the Boulder County Farmer’s Market. In an effort to help the very communities that purchase their products, Hope Hummus has committed to donating ten percent of their profits as well as generous product contributions to local communities in need.
“We use all organic ingredients, including organic extra virgin olive oil, which makes the product the highest quality,” Rech said. “We have creative flavors that are in line with our desire to make a great-tasting, healthy snack, including Spicy Avocado and Sweet Potato. Our Original Recipe Hummus has a great taste that goes beyond the plain, creamy hummus most people are used to having.”
