Live racing from Southern California has moved to Del Mar Race Course through Sept. 5

The Jockey Club, a horse betting venue in San Mateo, is announcing important updates, schedules and activities at the horse racing club.

"Live racing from Southern California has moved to Del Mar Race Course through Sept. 5," Jim Fetter of Jockey Club said. "Del Mar will run five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. First post is 2 p.m., except on Fridays, when it is at 4 p.m. Fair Racing continues at Cal Expo in Sacramento through July 22, then moves to the Sonoma County Fair in Santa Rosa, from July 25 through Aug. 12."

The Jockey Club is always the premier location to watch and wager on thoroughbred horse racing. And don’t forget the quarter horses from Los Alamitos and its simulcast imports every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

The Jockey Club features simulcast horse betting, as well as private party rooms and on-site catering for special events. Once done at the races, one can enjoy great dining in the Turf Club, where The Jockey Club offers a full menu of delicious starters, salads, sandwiches, specialty entrees and desserts, as well as a great selection of beers, wines and spirits.
