Horse racing enthusiasts were invited to Free Blanket Labor Day and other upcoming events at the San Mateo Jockey Club.
The San Mateo Jockey Club horse racing participated in a Labor Day Blanket Give-Away on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th. One per paid admission will be given out while supplies last.
Wednesday, September 7th, is closing day for the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. First Post is at 2:00.
From September 9th through the 25th, racing fans can head over for racing from Fairplex at the L.A. County Fair in Pomona.
In addition, the Golden Gate Fields Summer Meet will continue through October 2nd on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The Jockey Club is open Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and, Thursday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. They were open for Labor Day and closed Tuesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 8th only.
Night racing is held Friday through Sunday. Out-of-state imports are only on Wednesdays. General admission is $5 and Turf Club admission is $8. There is free parking available year round.

The Jockey Club horse betting opened in 2008 as the San Francisco Bay Area's newest Satellite Horse Wagering facility and features all the live racing from around the world.
