Sequel Hotels and Resorts Announces the Appointment of Three Industry Leaders to their Hospitality Management Team

In recent years, the hospitality industry has undergone a change in its composition with increasing numbers of youth and females graduating from hospitality and tourism management courses. This suggests that composition of the managerial ranks is likely to change, with concurrent changes in the typical leadership style experienced in the industry. Sequel Hotels and Resorts welcomes these changes with three new appointments in their hospitality leadership.

Sequel Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the following three appointments:

Elizabeth Dunn-Boylen CGA will join the Sequel Team as Regional Controller effective January 21, 2008. Elizabeth had worked in past with Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities as their Regional Controller. Prior to this Elizabeth worked with Fairmont Hotels, Delta Hotels, ClubLink, and Horseshoe Resort.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Ryerson in Business Administration and is a Certified General Accountant. She will compliment the dynamic and energetic environment and embrace growth with her experience and pro active approach to continuous improvement.

Sequel Hotels and Resorts also welcomes Matthew Foote to Elora Mill where he has been appointed Executive Chef. Mathew leaves Langdon Hall, a CAA 5 Star Property, and Relais Chateau, to join Elora Mill. Matthew's past experience includes positions at the Four Seasons Toronto, Truffles and the Studio Café. Prior to this he was at Scaramouche for 3 years.

"I am very excited to lead the brigade at Elora. The property will continue to work with artesian producers, while we explore interesting fusions and creative healthy cuisine, which is current, hip, and creates a Wow experience for our guests. We will embark upon a journey that will position Elora as the place to dine outside of Toronto. I love the fact that many small boutique Inns and Hotels outside of Toronto are becoming leaders in the culinary scene in Canada," said Foote.

Jerry Feltis is appointed Regional Director and remains the General Manager at HV Muskoka Resort. Prior to joining Sequel in 2005, Jerry was the Operations Director at Deehurst Resort. "Jerry is a strong operations manager who is a quality New Bread Leader in our industry. We are very proud to continue to grow our talent, and pleased that someone of Jerry's quality and commitment remains part of the Sequel team," says Anne Larcade, President and CEO.
