The world renowned Gleneagles Hotel have been presented with two awards at the inaugural caterersearch.com Web Awards 2008, held in London on the 17th Novemeber 2008.

The world renowned 5 star hotel saw off strong national competition to scoop the best 'Hotel website - Independent' award, while Andrew Fairlie - the two Michelin starred restaurant at Gleneagles - received the top prize for 'Restaurant website - Independent' award.

The awards were launched earlier this year to recognise the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business and to honour the best websites in hospitality. Websites are all judged on criteria including visual design, innovation, content, interactivity, ease of use, commercial success or potential and overall user experience.
