Hotel and Travel Index, part of the Travel Weekly Network, has announced its list of 2010 Superior Deluxe hotels. Awarded to 102 hotels this year, the designation of Superior Deluxe is reserved for the truly extraordinary hotel.

Hotels that received this honor cover the spectrum from the city to the safari, from 10 rooms to 300. Each hotel provides exceptional personal attention, extensive services and amenities, beautiful public and private spaces, great architectural beauty or a stunning location.

Continuing its tradition of evaluating and classifying hotels for nearly five decades, this year’s list of Superior Deluxe hotels welcomes new additions and includes properties from around the globe. Susan Weinstock, Hotel & Travel Index’s Editorial Director, commends all the hotels on their outstanding commitment to excellence.

Hotel and Travel Index is the travel planner’s indispensable reference for finding the details they need -- from GDS codes, hotel commission policies and rates to location, amenities and images. In addition, Hotel and Travel Index provides links to unbiased hotel reviews at its sister website, STAR Service Online.

Respected for its objectivity, accuracy and depth of information, Hotel and Travel Index covers the world with its comprehensive database of 110,000 hotels, maps, airports, destinations, attractions, hotel descriptions and hotel ratings.
