The Scene Partner e-Script library continues to grow, thanks to an agreement between the world’s premier play publisher and licensor Samuel French, Inc and mobile app developer The agreement will make select Samuel French plays digitally available on the Scene Partner WebStore for use in the Scene Partner App. Actors and theaters will be able to purchase Samuel French e-Scripts for use in memorizing lines and mounting future theatrical productions.

The first wave of Samuel French titles is tentatively scheduled for release before the end of 2012. “This exciting new venture with Scene Partner is the next step in our growing digital initiative which includes Samuel French e-Plays and the recent redesign of the Samuel French website.” according to Kenneth Dingledine, Director of Operations.

Kevin Smith, owner of and the developer of Scene Partner® stated, “We are very excited to add the outstanding plays in the Samuel French catalog to the growing assortment of e-Scripts available to Scene Partner customers.” Scene Partner is a powerful iPhone®, iPad® and iPod Touch® app that helps actors with the age-old problem of how to memorize lines.

Samuel French e-Script prices will range from $10.99 to $11.99 when purchased through the Scene Partner WebStore. Scene Partner customers will be able to find the titles in the company’s online store at Actors will be able to purchase copies of Samuel French e-Scripts for their personal use, while theaters can purchase multiple copies for distribution to their casts through a secure, online theater library. The agreement between Samuel French and was negotiated by Bill Fitzgerald, an entertainment attorney with national law firm Wilson Elser.
