The website introduces me and our staff, as well as our practice philosophy and principles to the public. It also lets people know what services and procedures we perform, for example, exercise prescriptions based on stress tests.

Dr. Howard Holtz was named one of "NJ's Top Doctors" for the third consecutive year in the November, 2008 issue of New Jersey Monthly Magazine. The honor is awarded based on a university conducted poll of all New Jersey physicians, asking which doctors they would send their family members to if they became ill. Dr. Holtz practices internal medicine in West Orange, near the borders of Millburn and Livingston, New Jersey and has privileges at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Memorial Hospital
Dr. Holtz stated, "It is always an honor to be named as a New Jersey Top Doctor, particularly in my specialty of internal medicine, where there is a tradition of excellence and so many gifted colleagues."
Dr. Holtz is pleased that the award coincides with the launch of his practice's new website: Dr. Howard Holtz. "The website introduces me and our staff, as well as our practice philosophy and principles to the public. It also lets people know what services and procedures we perform, for example, exercise prescriptions based on stress tests."
"I am especially excited about the 'New and Noteworthy' link on our website. It will provide information on health care topics I believe are important in the areas of health prevention, new diagnostic and treatment technologies and advice on how to best navigate the health care system." The first three topics are the radiation risks of cardiology testing and CT scans, weight loss and vitamin D supplementation.
Dr. Holtz is also planning to enhance practice convenience with e-mail communication and telemedicine services, such as blood pressure monitoring, through "e-appointments" in 2009.
His practice is located near the Turtle Back Zoo at the intersection of Northfield Avenue and Pleasant Valley Way in West Orange, New Jersey, near the South Mountain Reservation. Contact information can be found at Dr. Howard Holtz.
