Processing over 5000 photos was a challenge but the end result has been totally worth it. We’ve managed to raise some money for two great charities and have a lot of fun in the process.

Leader of the Skinheads for Charity event Patrick Hegarty, an SEO specialist at HP Group went under the clippers, and then the bic razor to relive himself of 22 years of hair growth – all to raise money for charity.
Joining him were his wife and son, and six colleagues, who between them raised an impressive amount of money for St Helena Hospice, who have already shown their appreciation via Facebook and Twitter; and Building Futures in Malawi, a Colchester based charity run by a member of HP Group.
Tom Jepson, Head of SEO compiled a great 3 minute video showing all 9 participants losing their hair for a good cause – footage which includes his locks being lopped off too. “Processing over 5000 photos was a challenge but the end result has been totally worth it. All we need now is a box of woolly hats!”
To add to the excitement of the already strange day, as the charitable participants lined up for a photo outside HP Group HQ, the Army Careers Bus arrived.
Luckily for HP, this chance occurrence didn’t result in any SEO experts being recruited to serve Queen and country, but it has taken some convincing to believe that it wasn’t a prank pulled off by the office jester Jeff Keating!
