HUMAN ("Helping Unite Mankind And Nutrition"), America’s fastest growing healthy vending franchise announces its partnership with Sodexo to provide healthful snack and beverage options to the employees and patients of Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. HUMAN franchisees Brad and Shani Magosky launched a total of eight machines, including the “HUMAN Touch,” HUMAN’s 46” touch screen healthy vending machine, last week. Holy Cross is the first hospital in South Florida to create a partnership with HUMAN and the first location nationwide to feature the HUMAN Touch.

News of this partnership comes on the heels of Sodexo’s announcement that it will add more nutritious options for children in conjunction with The Partnership for a Healthier America, a part of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign.

According to Sodexo CEO, George Chavel, the company reaches 15 million consumers a day in more than 9,000 locations nationwide. Sodexo is the first large food service company, outside of restaurant chains, to pledge to serve more wholesome foods.

“HUMAN is the next step in providing healthy alternatives for our associates. The values of HUMAN, Holy Cross and Sodexo align well,” said Patrick A. Taylor, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer, Holy Cross Hospital.

Prior to incorporating HUMAN's healthy vending program, Holy Cross’ vending options consisted of traditional vending offerings, including chips, candy and sodas.

“We hope this partnership brings new and exciting alternatives for our associates and visiting families. Being the first hospital in South Florida to bring HUMAN vending in our facility, we want to show that even our vending options can be healthy and fun,” said Dr. Taylor.
