We have been looking into different opportunities over the years but with the opening of Japengo – we have found the perfect venue for a new LGBT event.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa invites the public to the new Blu Dragon LGBT afterhours event in Japengo’s Sushi Bar and Lounge, located on the third floor Ewa Tower, 2424 Kalakaua Avenue. The event is scheduled for every third Friday of the month. Hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and the next event will be March 16, 2012. Features include DJ, sushi bar and cocktails, validated self-parking, and no cover charge. Ages 21 and over.

“We are really excited about starting this new afterhours event. We have been looking into different opportunities over the years but with the opening of Japengo – we have found the perfect venue for a new LGBT event,” says Vincent Brunetti, food and beverage director at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.

The Waikiki resort restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday with seating in the Sushi Bar and Lounge beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dining from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The newest Hyatt Waikiki restaurant, Japengo features Pacific Rim Cuisine, expertly rolled sushi, and exotic cocktails.
