WHO: Meals of Hope, a non-profit organization that has packaged more than 12 million meals over the past four years; the Rotary Clubs of Bonita Springs, Bonita Springs Noon, Estero and South Ft. Myers; and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, recently named one of the world’s top 100 hotels by Travel + Leisure
WHAT: Four local Rotary Clubs will join efforts and package 100,000 meals at a Meals of Hope event held at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point. An estimated 300 volunteers, ranging from 4 to 96 years old, are expected to participate, packaging healthy, fortified meals for those in need. The packaged meals will be distributed locally by the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
Meals of Hope relies fully on the generous contributions of outside donors. Meals of Hope is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization.
