So the moral of the story? If there is one, it would be that the Hyundai Santa Fe R Diesel can give you the superb, eco-friendly performance but it won't remember all your documents for you.

Documentary maker Tony Wilson plays an important, if not speedy, role plodding behind the Hyundai Team R during Global Challenge 2009. We all know the feeling of being engaged in a frantic and desperate game of catch up. It's a sensation documentary maker Tony Wilson is all too accustomed to after the Australian spent time tracking the Hyundai Team R across the Global Challenge race in Australia, late 2009.
Wilson, who was with the team filming a documentary on the ups and downs of the 7 stage, 3,147 kilometre race from Darwin to Adelaide, tracked the team down at stage 6 of the contest arriving to meet them "just in the nick of time to be too late."
Following in Hyundai Team R's dust, Wilson was, however, in the right place to play a key part, finding the fuel logs, something the team had forgotten and was in badly need of. The Global Challenge is a competition between the world's green energy vehicles, with the winner measured on fuel consumption and efficiency.
Wilson's role in picking up the fuel logs was an important one as the team went on to victory in the race's SUV category with an outstanding fuel consumption rate of 5.1L/100km, consuming just 60.46 litres of diesel fuel and a low 137.67 grams of CO2 per kilometre over the 3,147 km's distance.
So the moral of the story? If there is one, it would be that the Hyundai Santa Fe R Diese can give you the superb, eco-friendly performance but it won't remember all your documents for you.
Wilson was just proud to have played his part, phoning the Hyundai Team R to let them know he was on his way, following behind them yet again.
