IBeGone is an interactive virtual gifting destination. It allows Facebook users to “will” a virtual gift inheritance to their Facebook friends. One of the many unique spins on IBeGone is the Estate. Each player, known as an IBeGoner, has an Estate page as their main hub. The Estate Page contains their Avatar, a Vault for storing their gift inheritance, and Estate Chips that are earned during game play such as willing a gift and re-gifting.

Rick Altman of West Bloomfield, Michigan came up with the idea for IBeGone over seven years ago and from the nudging of his wife he put his ideas into development and brought IBeGone off his notebook and onto Facebook.
Altman explains, "There is a list of pre-populated virtual gifts and events that IBeGoners can select to will to a friend or they can create their own. From “willing” the spare change in your desk drawer after being fired, “willing” the leftovers in your fridge to the friend you decided not to take to the Springsteen concert, or “willing” a call from a telemarketer to a friend who just pissed you off - it’s all part of the fun on IBeGone."

A Sneak A Peek comes into play when a player wills a gift and schedules the delivery with a future date, enticing the recipient to Sneak A Peek to see what they got. For example, Kate receives an IBeGone notification that she inherited a gift from a guy she has a crush on. He willed her a gift with a future delivery date and she has to wait two weeks to see what she inherited. Instead, Kate purchases a Sneak A Peek for 99¢ in the IBeGone Market Place and learns right away that she has received a romantic night out on the town.
Having just launched, the feedback on IBeGone is positive and marketing is underway. IBeGone is in discussion with brands to be part of the virtual gifting as well as for the coveted spots of the official IBeGone Welcome Gift and the official Estate Chip sponsor.
