ibis Hotels today issued a final call for votes in the first stage of the search for an ibis idol 2009. Voters have until June 18 to select their favorite contestant and enter a draw to win free accommodation in red-hot coastal resorts in Thailand.

ibis idol is the search for a young, stylish, outgoing and smart individual to represent the ibis Hotels brand. With more than 1,900 registered contestants, ibis is looking to the public to help decide who should progress to the next stage of the competition and stand a chance of winning ibis idol 2009.

Following the results of the public vote, the fifty most popular contestants will proceed to the second stage where they will be interviewed on June 19 and 20. The 12 top interviewed contestants will progress to the final round of the competition where one will be crowned ibis idol 2009.

The winner of ibis idol will enjoy a year long, cool lifestyle that millions can only dream of. The package includes a one month stint as a superstar VJ Rookie on Channel V, a year of free hotel accommodation, a personal fashion shoot, a dedicated personal portfolio and a holiday in Korea.
