iCrete LLC, a clean technology leader and the world's premier concrete technology company, announced the appointment of Bernard Benson as Vice President of Corporate Development.

Said iCrete President Tom Schneider: "Bernie Benson is an internationally recognized expert in industrial plant productivity and engineering who has driven the application of general purpose computing technology and software in the construction materials industry. His work has been truly transformative for the asphalt, concrete and aggregate industries across North America and we are delighted to have him join our company as a senior executive."

Mr. Benson was previously an executive with The Boeing Company, where he was recognized for technical excellence by NASA and by the U.S. Air Force for contributions to the U.S. Space Shuttle and to other programs involving space exploration and national defense.

He is the former chief executive officer of BMG Corporation, which was acquired from the construction equipment division of Boeing, and of Seltec Corporation, which Benson purchased in 1990.

Mr. Benson is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), and holds an MS degree in Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle.
