The Idaho Department of Commerce, along with its Division of Tourism Development, has launched a new interactive online media press kit.
The press kit highlights Idaho's diverse economy ranging from high-tech to agriculture to tourism. It features information on starting a business in Idaho and the economic profile of the state, as well as tourism information including interactive maps, photo galleries, story ideas and general Idaho trivia information.
The press kit enables viewers to see highway and airport maps, the most current business incentives and links to information about international trade opportunities.
The proximity to the great outdoors is a lure that brings many to Idaho. Abundant outdoor recreational opportunities - from mountain biking to skiing, from whitewater rafting to backpacking - and scenic vistas around every turn attract over 20 million tourists annually. Even those who live in the state's largest cities can enjoy fly fishing or a river walk during their lunch hour.
