On Wednesday May 29, with nearly 500 Washington leaders in attendance at the McLean Hilton in Tyson’s Corner, Helios HR, a human capital management consulting and recruiting firm, announced 10 winners of the 2013 Helios Apollo Awards, which recognize employers for outstanding employee development and engagement programs. iDS, along with its President, Neal Lawson, captured the Opa Award, which is given to the company with the most unique program for employee development. In its 7th year, the Apollo Awards is the premier awards program for recognizing Washington area employers who invest in innovative employee development, engagement and community impact initiatives.

The VOLTAGE Awards program celebrates the role that technology plays in the business community and the future impact the technology sector will have on economic growth. The 2013 VOLTAGE award finalists collectively generate more than $2.1 billion in annual revenue and employ over 8,900 individuals in the greater Washington DC area.
