Peter Dengate Thrush, ICANN board Chairman, described the introduction of IDNs as follows: "This is the biggest change technically to the Internet since it was invented 40 years ago." IDN Event is a must-attend event for all those who are looking to capitalize on the global domain landrush.
Gary Males, co-founder of IDN Tools, stated, "The next set of major domain sales will be in non-Latin characters."
