Inventor, idox founder and local Madisonian, Vic Mohoney grew tired of holding his iPhone when watching a movie while traveling. "I looked around and noticed that others were also holding their Apple iPhone or iPod." Mohoney recalled. "Frustrated, I started to sketch designs on a drink napkin." The Traveler Series cases and a company, idox, LLC was born.

Products range in price from $24.95 for the iPod nano case to $34.95 for the iPhone and iPod touch cases. The cases are also featured on the cover of Continental Airlines SkyMall Holiday 2009 catalog and Made for iPod/iPhone Section and on the SkyMall website.
Mohoney felt it was important to keep manufacturing and distribution in the United States. Both manufacturing and fulfillment operations are located in Wisconsin. idox operational headquarters are based here in Madison.
