Lockstep Releases IGetMail Version 3.0

Automatically Downloads POP3 Email from Multiple Remote Servers to Microsoft Exchange Server as Fast as Every 20 Seconds

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) July 7, 2008 -- Lockstep Systems today announced the release of IGetMail version 3.0. IGetMail solves the email delivery problem created when a company hosts its Internet domain or website at a third party, while using a Microsoft Exchange Server internally. Because Exchange Server is not designed to download email from remote locations, Exchange administrators need a utility that downloads the remote email for them. IGetMail is a Windows utility commonly installed on the Exchange Server to automatically download, sort and deliver POP3 email messages from multiple remote servers to a local Microsoft Exchange Server.

With the release of IGetMail version 3.0, end users can take advantage of the following new features:

  • SSL support for remote POP3 mailboxes
  • SSL support for SMTP / Exchange Servers
  • Leaves email at the remote servers
  • Supports Exchange Server 2007, 2003, 2000, 5.5
  • Enhanced Scheduler Supports multiple email downloading schedules
  • Fast, Automatic Email Checks Checks for email as fast as every 20 seconds
  • Pulls email from multiple POP servers simultaneously
  • New User Interface Watch IGetMail pull email in real-time
  • SMTP Authentication Provides authenticated login to the Exchange Server
  • Define Rules to better route your email
  • Stores email in local archive for up to thirty (30) days
  • Works with SMTP-compliant antivirus and antispam software

News Image System Requirements

IGetMail runs on any Windows computer that can run Microsoft Exchange Server.
