In a competitive healthcare job environment, benefits as a part of the executive total compensation package is a critical component to securing top leadership talent while maintaining the organization’s financial goals.

Integrated Healthcare Strategies (IHStrategies), a healthcare consulting and survey firm providing performance-enhancing engagement and alignment solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a first-ever survey focused exclusively on healthcare executive benefits. IHStrategies has conducted healthcare compensation surveys for the last 20 years. The National Healthcare Executive Benefits Survey is an extension from the firm’s recognized National Healthcare Leadership Compensation Survey, enhancing the depth, quality, and range of data reported on the topic of executive benefits.

To celebrate its opening year, IHStrategies will be providing all hospital and health system participating organizations with a free copy of the published results.

“In a competitive healthcare job environment, benefits as a part of the executive total compensation package is a critical component to securing top leadership talent while maintaining the organization’s financial goals,” said Christy Boswell, Survey Manager at IHStrategies. “The survey reports on design features and other factors that influence benefit plan costs and their contribution to the value of the executive total compensation package.”

Survey topics covered include: Retirement plans; disability plans; survivor benefits; medical/dental/vision plans; sick day/vacation benefits; perquisites; and severance plans.

Healthcare organizations can participate in the National Healthcare Executive Benefits Survey by opening the following link and submitting the web form: http://ihstrategies.com/sur_forms.php. Interested organizations may also call 1-800-327-9335 and request to speak to the Compensation Survey Department.

The issued close date for the survey is June 10, 2011. However, organizations interested in participating but having difficulty completing the survey by the deadline are invited to contact IHStrategies for an extension.
