Just one piece of information alone (that I learned from the IMA seminars) will save me hundreds of hours this year.

The Internet Merchants Association (IMA) today opened the call for speakers for ASD Las Vegas, which will be held at the Las Vegas Conference Center from August 8 – 11, 2010. The IMA, a non-profit, educational trade association for those in the ecommerce space, is charged with programming several educational workshops for attendees of the merchandise trade show, one of the country’s largest. To submit a speaker entry, please contact Pat Pepe, IMA events and sponsorship chair, at pat(at)imamerchants(dot)org.

“IMA concluded its 2010 conference on March 3,” said Fred Neff, IMA President, “which, as always, was held in conjunction with ASD Las Vegas’ March show. This year, an estimated 1,500 people attended the show – 300 more than last year. We organized several educational seminars which were taught concurrently for both groups, and attendee feedback has been tremendous.

“In fact, this is one of my favorite comments: ‘Just one piece of information alone will save me hundreds of hours this year.’ That’s the kind of enthusiasm that motivates us to organize and teach these seminars; knowing we will empower other etailers to kick their businesses up a notch with the learnings they receive.”

ASD Las Vegas will run August 8 – 11, 2010, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo Center. The educational seminars programmed by the IMA will be held on August 9 and 10, 2010.

Speaker submissions are invited on all aspects of launching and successfully running an Internet-based business, such as SEO, web design, and using social media to market your business. IMA’s Platinum and Diamond members are given preference when programming the seminars. For more information on how to become a Platinum or Diamond member of the IMA, or to submit a speaker application, please contact Pat Pepe, IMA events and sponsorship chair, at pat(at)imamerchants(dot)org.
