Wardrobe 911 Launches Interactive Style Institute

Set Yourself Apart from the Armchair Fashionistas

Having a passion for fashion is important, but knowing the language and technical skills to communicate what you’re seeing is what makes a successful style consultant.

Wardrobe 911 (http://www.wardrobe911.com) today announced the launch of the Wardrobe 911 Style Institute, a first-of-its-kind online interactive learning environment (ILE) for personal stylists and image consultants. Created by nationally recognized stylist and Wardrobe 911 founder, Teresa Morisco, this is the first ILE program in the industry for aspiring stylists who are looking for a new career as well as professional stylists who wish to stay on trend and enhance their skills.

Based on Morisco's "Stylist Bootcamp," a two-day training course in San Francisco, the Wardrobe 911 Style Institute is a more comprehensive program consisting of over 80 lessons covering topics such as body type analysis, style consultation and personal coloring. It teaches aspiring stylists the Wardrobe 911 philosophy of focusing on color theory and body types, not the common practices of using seasons and fruit-based body shapes. Also covered in the program are lessons for starting and marketing a business specific to personal styling and image consulting.

"Having a passion for fashion is important, but knowing the language and technical skills to communicate what you're seeing is what makes a successful style consultant," said Morisco. "No matter where you live, you can take advantage of our online training and tools. This career will enable you to be your own boss with a flexible work schedule all while making an impact and transforming lives."

The Style Institute's personal stylist training program also includes a module focusing on beauty and grooming. Beauty knowledge has been provided by makeup artist and bestselling author, Robert Jones, whose recent book Looking Younger, Makeovers That Make You Look as Young as You Feel, is currently available at http://www.robertjonesbeauty.com.

Enrollment for the program begins February 1, 2010. Upon completion of the training, stylists become Wardrobe 911 certified and have lifetime access to the Style Institute tools. Stylists are also invited to join the "Wardrobe 911 Stylist Collective," a network of first class wardrobe consultants. To sign up for the program go to http://www.styleinstitute.net.
