I’m In Marketer has created yet another app and this time, it is for Brown’s Chicken. The mobile app’s objective is to provide convenience to consumers while bolstering the competitiveness of Chicagoans’ favorite fast food restaurant.
As with the other small business apps developed by I’m In Marketer in the past, the app for Brown’s Chicken is feature-packed. Right below the huge Brown’s Chicken image, there are six buttons that can be accessed by users starting off with the Contact Us menu. One tap and it will take the user into the list of the numerous locations of the restaurant. Users simply have to select one location to open the GPS-powered map. At the same page, there are two buttons for the company’s website and a one-click email option.
Since it is GPS-enabled, smartphone and tablet users can allow the app to determine their location for much quicker access. One of the unique features of the app is that it provides turn by turn directions for users. At the top right corner of the screen, there is the Google Maps icon. A single tap will trigger the app to bring forth the navigation directions for all locations with the user’s spot as the starting point.
Another useful button in the app is the menu list featuring Chicken Dinners, Seafood, and Sandwich Classics. Tapping on a menu item will open the subcategories. Another tap and it will show the user the description of the current food item. Another favorite button in the app is the Loyalty menu where loyal customers can earn bonuses, discounts, and even free food. The app uses the lock-unlock approach which means that customers have to frequently visit the restaurant to unlock the virtual loyalty coupons. All loyalty awards use a stamp card, which need to be presented to a Brown’s Chicken staff.
Fan Wall is the next feature at the bottom of the app. As the name suggests, this is where regular customers can interact with one another. They can post comments using the app and even upload their photos to show how much they love the food at Brown’s Chicken. They can also connect with their Facebook and Twitter accounts. Next is the Messages button, which will display any “push notifications” or messages sent out by Brown’s Chicken that highlight special offers and events at their restaurants.
Finally, the More button gives additional options to the users. It has Sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes from Brown’s Chicken, Tell a Friend for much easier sharing, and Check In to collect more discounts and freebies that are based on your visit to their locations. Other items included are the Daily Specials, the option to join the Mailing List, and New Menu.
